I have worked with a wide range of individuals requiring varied, flexible and individualized placement services. I have worked with numerous rehabilitation providers adapting placement services to meet their needs.
Experienced
Since 1977, I have been working in job placement throughout Southern Minnesota. I was a Job Developer for the State of Minnesota for five years, developing on-the-job training sites, teaching job seeking skills and developing and implementing job placement plans. My service area included Austin, Albert Lea, Owatonna Rochester and Faribault areas. For two years, I was the Placement Coordinator for Cedar Valley Services in Austin and its affiliated workshops in Albert Lea and Owatonna. In this position, I developed the placement program including job development, job seeking skills and job adaptation individualized to the need of the client.
For the past twenty years, I have provided placement services through the Worker’s Compensation System and the Division of Rehabilitation Services to individuals in southern Minnesota both on a part-time and full-time basis. In twenty five years of providing placement services, I have developed a broad base of employer contacts and a thorough working knowledge of the types and locations of employment in the area.
Effective
My broad experience in assisting individuals with a wide range of disabilities and injuries has fine tuned my ability to secure suitable employment for the clients I have served, and I hope to serve in the future.
